Adahuesca is a town in the Somontano de Barbastro region in the province of Huesca. It is an area well known for its wine production, especially the Somontano wines, which are highly appreciated. As for its gastronomy, in Adahuesca you can taste typical dishes such as ternasco (lamb), mushroom stew or coca de chicharrones (pork crackling pastry).
In terms of tourism, Adahuesca is a point of tourist interest due to its proximity to the Sierra y los Cañones de Guara Nature Reserve, an ideal place for adventure sports such as canyoning and climbing. Also of note is the Monastery of Santa María de la Gloria, a Gothic-style monastery dating from the 13th century and located in the nearby town of Casbas de Huesca.
